DescriptionThe house contains internationally renowned collections: one of French eighteenth-century furniture and Sèvres porcelain inherited from my Rothschild grandmother and another of Napoleonic portraits and memorabilia collected by my grandfather, the 5th Earl of Rosebery as well as paintings of the highest quality from the 16th to the 19th centuries. My wife and I live in the smaller rooms upstairs and open the main rooms of the house to the public for guided tours part of the year.
