Comment: This is a little 'Garden of Eden' - peaceful, varied, with friendly staff.The best times to visit are when the rhododendrons are in bloom in May and when the herbaceous borders are planted out in June/July. Better still - get a season ticket and watch it change throughout the year! Good parking; wheelchairs available - but be aware that the gardens slope; pleasant tea rooms.My favourite place after Hodnet - but with much better opening hours!
