DescriptionWe have two pools in which a vast array of activities take place.

In the main pool we have fun sessions and the aqua run for young people plus our very own after school Kidz Klub on a Tuesday.

For those of you who wish to swim in a 'kids free zone' there are plenty of adult only sessions throughout the week including late night swims.

For those of you who want a dip before work then why not come along to our Earlybird sessions? We are here at 7am so why aren't you?

We also cater for our older citizens with our New Horizons sessions that offer concessionary swimming for the over 50s. It's a great way to meet new friends whilst keeping trim in the morning.

You can learn to swim and improve your strokes at the pool. We operate a well established swimming lesson programme which caters for all abilities and ages.

Want to be a lifeguard? If so, then why not enrol onto our National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course. You will soon learn that there is more to lifeguarding than just sitting on a pool chair!

Water workout takes place in the warm waters of the teaching pool. The water is very shallow so you don't even need to be able to swim!

Sauna and Steam

You really can take things easy at Waltham Abbey Pool with our recently installed sauna and steam rooms beside the rooms beside the swimming pool.

Relax in the soothing heat of the sauna and steam rooms, the perfect way to unwind after the rigours of daily life.

The sauna and steam compliment each other superbly to leave you feeling clean, fresh and revived.
