DescriptionThe fitness studio at the leisure pool offers a good range of cardio-vascular and resistance equipment to ensure you can achieve your goals. Whilst working out you can watch tv and listen to the surround music on offer. On your first visit you will be given a thorough induction to the equipment which will help you work out effectively and safely. Equipment on offer includes steppers, bikes, cross trainers, rowing machines and treadmills.

The contours membership entitles card holders to also take advantage of swimming, aquafit and hydrofit for free at the leisure pool. (pre-booking for hydrofit is required). Using the swimming pool also comes free with a purchase of a gym ticket so why not take advantage and complement your exercise routine. The leisure pool with a diving pit and wave machine provides a great opportunity for a refreshing dip after your workout, or you can opt for one of our water classes. Aquafit: This class offers a great workout which incorporates using all major muscle groups as well as the heart and lungs. It is a great class for toning your body as the water acts as both resistance and support. (suitable for non-swimmers). Hydrofit and deepwater workout: This takes place in the diving pool, using floatation belts and aqua-dumbells. This is a non impact class which effectively builds muscle stamina and also works your heart and lungs. As well as water work outs there are other classes on offer throughout the year.
Health suite

The health suite at the leisure pool is one of the most luxurious out of all our centres. It consists of dual saunas, steam room, spa pool, aerotone baths, hot rooms and a cold pool.
