DescriptionScissett Baths was opened by the Miner’s Welfare in May 1928 and has been at the heart of the Scissett and Clayton West community ever since.

It boasts a 25 metre pool with a busy timetable of public swim sessions, classes and lessons; a sauna area and cutting-edge Peak Physique gym with private multi-channel television screens on most of the pieces of equipment. Opening hours for the pool and the gym are listed below.

Instructors also take some classes in the pool and gentle exercise classes in the Scissett Working Men’s Club next door. Timetables are below. Lifestyle Plus members can enjoy unlimited use of the gym, pool, sauna and classes from just £13.95 per month. Details below.
