DescriptionThe latest in sound and lighting effects combine with a lively disco atmosphere in Riverside's ice rink, one of only two rinks in the whole of Essex.

It's also the home of the Chelmsford Chieftains Ice Hockey Team and the venue for their exciting home matches. Rink-side facilities at Riverside include a fully licensed bar, cafeteria, hot and cold vending and seating for over 600 spectators. There are over 2000 pairs of skates available for hire at the rink.

The swimming pools complex at Riverside Ice and Leisure comprises of three pools:
1) Learner pool;
2) Main pool, with an exciting flume ride and triple diving platform;
3) Free-form heated Outdoor pool with sunbathing terraces and a refreshments kiosk (summer only);

The Centre also provides:
4) Swimming lessons and courses
5) Pool parties
6) Clubs using the swimming pools
