DescriptionSpringfields Outlet Shopping & Festival Gardens is a unique concept in retail and leisure, located in Spalding, Lincolnshire. The scheme mixes leisure and shopping in an innovative way, with stunning showcase gardens and factory outlet stores selling top quality brands at up to 75% off all year round.
The shopping outlet centre is home to over 40 outlet stores and boasts top brand name shopping at hugely discounted prices. With stores such as Marks and Spencer Outlet, Clarks Shoes, Cotton Traders, Virgin Cosmetics, Mexx, Suits You, The Festival Garden Centre, Lilley and Skinner and many more.

The Springfields Festival Gardens are a beautifully landscaped area, featuring Chelsea-style celebrity showcase gardens, including designs by Charlie Dimmock, Chris Beardshaw, Kim Wilde and Steven Woodhams, and a spectacular Japanese Garden by Sansui Design. The Gardens were completely redeveloped in 2004, funded by Thornfield Properties Plc in conjunction with Springfields Horticultural Society, a charity dedicated to the improvement and growth of horticulture and floral design in the Spalding region.
They have recently welcomed some new additions, as innovative designer, Stephen Newby unveiled a collection of his spectacular stainless steel sculptures throughout the landscaped gardens. The ‘blown’ steel sculptures are largely based around a water theme, featuring a water pyramid fountain, pillow planters and a specially commissioned 15’ ‘Kaleidoscope Wheel’, situated in the canal.

Charlie Dimmock’s Jungle Island has also welcomed a new attraction to its banks in the form of the Fountain Pool Bar. The recently erected floating marquee bar will serve as a new venue within the Springfields Festival Gardens offering picturesque views across the lake and fountain. The Fountain Pool Bar is also available to hire for private events such as cocktail parties, meetings and wedding receptions.

The scheme also includes woodland walks, a children’s Play Barn, Secret Garden Adventure Golf and an arboretum among many other attractions. There is no charge for visitors to Springfields or the Festival gardens, though a small fee is levied for Play Barn & Adventure Golf users.

Springfields Outlet Shopping and Festival Gardens also hosts a wide variety of events and concerts. ‘Springfields Live!’ in August 06 made Springfields a live music venue with amazing performances from the UK’s premier tribute bands, The Secret Police, Jon’s Elton & The Rat Pack. Hundreds of people attended the Festival Gardens for what turned out to be a highly successful event.
A new water taxi service between Springfields Outlet Shopping & Festival Gardens and Spalding Town Centre operates on a seasonal basis and since it’s launch in August 2005 it has proved a huge success carrying over 25,000 visitors to date. The scheme provides a new mode of public transport for people wishing to visit both attractions.
