Waddesdon has one of the best collections of French 18th century decorative arts in the world, paintings, furniture, carpets and curiosities, lovingly assembled over 35 years by Ferdinand to please his weekend guests. Outside, his creation includes an aviary, flamboyant bedding, winding walks, colourful trees and panoramic views.

Middleton Swimming Pool is a superb, modern complex. Middleton Pool has a peaceful atmosphere and excellent staff. In September 2005 the pool achieved QUEST Status.

The King's Head Inn is notable as being one of the oldest public houses with a coaching yard in the south of England. It is located in the Market Square, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
The oldest part of the current structure of the building is of 15th century design, however the cellars are much older, dating back to the 13th century, and may have been part of the local friary.

The house sits on the brow of the hill to the west of the main road (A4128) that links Hughenden to High Wycombe (Ordnance survey reference 165:SU866955), where it has fine views of the Chiltern countryside. It is 1.5 miles north of the town of High Wycombe and 2 miles from the railway station.
