The vast and immensely impressive ruins of a palatial medieval manor house arranged round a pair of courtyards, with a huge undercrofted Great Hall and a defensible High Tower 22 metres (72 feet) tall. Matlock Lido was opened in May 1938 as an Open Air Pool by the British Olympic Diving Champion. Since then the Lido has now been roofed.

*18m by 5m teaching pool
*Clockworks Health and Fitness (12 Pieces of Cardio Vascular, 8 Resistance and a section of dumb-bell equipment)
