Hatfield House

Hatfield House was built by Robert Cecil, Ist Earl of Salisbury and Chief Minister to King James I, in 1611. This celebrated Jacobean house, which stands in its own Park, has been in the Cecil family ever since, and is now home to the 7th Marquess of Salisbury. [more]

Ware Priory Lido

Ware Priory Lido opened on 30th June 1934 as an unheated, open-air public bath. Now, we are pleased to say, the Lido is heated.
The Lido is situated within the grounds of Ware Priory and comprises a 30m (approximately) Main Pool and a Teaching Pool. Fully qualified RLSS Pool Lifeguards and a First Aider are on duty at all times.
Three hard surface tennis courts are adjacent to The Lido and a Basketball Court is also on this site. Please contact Lido reception for... [more]

The 25m by 9.5m pool is used exclusively by schools from the town and surrounding villages but has casual public use during the evenings and at weekends.
The Fitness Centre has 32 stations, a mixture of cardia vascular and resistance machines Cardia Theatre - with 5 TV screens "Technogym" equipment. [more]
