The extensive remains of an Augustinian abbey, including its abbots' quarters, refectory and cloister. The substantially surviving chapter house has a frontage richly bedecked with 12th and 14th century carving and statuary, and a fine timber roof of c. 1500. New pictorial interpretation boards guide the visitor, and an introductory exhibition displays archaeological finds. Picnic area and light refreshments available.

Wroxeter (or 'Viroconium') was the fourth largest city in Roman Britain. It began as a legionary fortress and later developed into a thriving civilian city, populated by retired soldiers and traders. Though much still remains below ground, today the most impressive features are the 2nd-century municipal baths, and the remains of the huge wall dividing them from the exercise hall in the heart of the city.

Set in the heartland of Shropshire one mile south of the historic market town of Whitchurch, Dearnford Trout Fishery was designed and created amidst pleasant and scenic surroundings in the early 90's specifically with fly fishermen in mind.

Rowley's House Museum re-opened in January 2001 under the new name of Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery (Rowley's House). The museum occupies two adjoining buildings; one of which is timber-framed (originally built as a merchant's warehouse in the 16th or early 17th Century) and the other a stone and brick building of about 1618 (the mansion of the merchant William Rowley). Wollerton Old Hall Garden is a four acre plantsman's garden developed around a 16th Century house (not open) in rural Shropshire, England. Strong formal design has created many separate gardens each with its own character. It features intensive cultivation of perennials using planting combinations with an emphasis on colour and form, as well as many rare and unusual plants.

The Thresholds Centre offers a diverse range of activities from Easter to November. These range from crafts and creative writing to local history, exhibitions, landscape appreciation, guided tours, drama and murder mystery events
Thresholds is situated on a northern outlier of the Long Mynd, in the heart of the Secret Hills of South Shropshire. The area is often associated with the writer Mary Webb and Thresholds Farmhouse features in several of Mary's works.
