Scissett Baths was opened by the Miner’s Welfare in May 1928 and has been at the heart of the Scissett and Clayton West community ever since.

It boasts a 25 metre pool with a busy timetable of public swim sessions, classes and lessons; a sauna area and cutting-edge Peak Physique gym with private multi-channel television screens on most of the pieces of equipment. Opening hours for the pool and the gym are listed below.
